Luci

Luci McPherson, owner of Just As Nice, is originally from LI, New York.  She came to Boston to attend college, graduating from Emmanuel College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and an A.S. in Accounting.  Vowing never to live without public transportation again (as on Long Island), she made her home in Brookline where she has lived since 1976.

Before 2009, Luci had a long career as an Executive Technical Recruiter.  She worked for two technical consulting companies as Recruiting Manager, as well as at Lotus Development Corporation, supporting the Worldwide Field Services Organization.  After leaving Lotus, Luci consulted on-site to many of Boston’s technical firms.  Luci was certified as a Personal Career Coach in 2003 and is an active member of the International Coach Federation (ICF).

During the course of her career at Lotus Development Corporation, she completed and was certified in highly regarded courses such as Competency Based Selection, Behavioral Interviewing, The Diversity Imperative Workshop and Flawless Consulting-Communicating and Presenting for Management Success.  Luci has studied and participated in the organizational development
of the majority of the firms that she has worked for throughout the years.

Since 2009, and the opening of Just As Nice, Luci has been fulfilling the strong desire to own a small women’s clothing boutique store.  It is at Just As Nice, that the business experiences she had while holding a corporate position and her keen sense of fashion merge to form a unique shopping experience for the customer.  Luci strives to assist every customer professionally and to the level of help they want or feel they need.

Luci’s vast interests in dancing, yoga, sewing and fashion have led her to create the Just As Nice Boutique as a place where women can find their voice through style.
